Is it really June 5?

line Is it really June 5?

I can’t believe how fast things happen. I went back to work three weeks ago. I have been driving alternate days from Orange County up to Calabasas and Pasadena habitually, with baby in tow. This doesn’t leave much time for writing, which is my REAL passion… how sad! But, can I deny that I have a real passion for education as well? Not really. That is, of course, why I spend so much time educating, I would think.

My son Atlas is now one week past his 4 month mark… he’s learned to roll over (and over and over and over)… he even talks in his own baby babble. (Which I wish I could proudly say that I understand, but I am, of course, just guessing) He’s getting teeth, and sometimes gets ornery about it… but otherwise, he is the sweetest little guy I’ve met. (Don’t all parents think this way about their children? I finally understand it…)

Well, I can’t believe we’re in June, that my boy is getting so big, and that my Spring writing classes are almost over. I have managed to get behind in them AGAIN… I will try to remedy this in the future. Oh well, this is all crap thoughts anyway. Who cares? I’m on a journey to publication, but this only matters to me, and those interested in reading my neurotic imaginings. My best friend, Adam, could tell you lots about that. My husband, my bestest of the bestest friend (and my favorite person), could tell you more.

What else?

I used to ride the quantum wave.

But I will elaborate upon that when I’m not so tired, and my baby isn’t in need of food.

Cheers!

  1. Baby, teaching, writing–oh my! I’m so glad you’re finding ways to do all three.

Working in education can be so enervating to other areas of life. I wish you much energy, inspiration and time to get your own writing accomplished!
